Jon has spent most of his time as an Independent Financial Adviser, but the significant changes in legislation meant that being invited to become a Partner Practice with St. James's Place Wealth Management has allowed him to offer a far more holistic and comprehensive service to his clients, moving into the future.
Jon has extensive knowledge of all areas of financial planning, but specialises in the area of investments, pensions, taxation and trusts* and holds the Diploma in Financial Planning.
Our Clients come from a very diverse background and have many objectives, ranging from those saving modest amounts, to those with substantial assets.
What they do have in common, however, is a desire to benefit from outstanding service, bespoke to their individual needs and we firmly believe that Pemberton & Prince Wealth Management Ltd, together with St. James's Place Wealth Management can offer this exceptional level of professionalism.
On a personal note, Jon was a very keen footballer, cricketer and golfer, with golf now being his main sporting stay and he still plays off a low’ish handicap. He is also a frustrated Arsenal season ticket holder!
A devoted family man and with 5 children means weekends and holidays are busy! Fortunately, his eldest son, Oliver, is a Financial Adviser within the Partner Practice.
*Trusts are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
Oliver is a graduate of the St. James's Place Next Generation Academy and completed his final exam in May 2016 to achieve Adviser status. He has worked for Pemberton & Prince Wealth Management Ltd since June 2013. Now qualified, he works as an Adviser to give regulated, professional, financial advice, and works alongside the Managing Director.
His specialist areas are investment, retirement, protection and IHT planning, including investing over the short, medium and long term. It is important for him to get a clear picture of where every new client is currently and where they want to be in the future. He focuses on improving his clients tax-efficiency, potential gains and general organisation of their finances. This takes the stress away from them and allows them to spend their free time focusing on what is important to them.
Outside of work, he enjoys playing sport, such as football and golf, and spending time with his friends and family.
